5 Jahre Compost Records. Wow! Das Label zählt für viele zu den besten deutschen Indie-Labels für Clubmusik im Allgemeinen, im Speziellen zu den führenden Labels für House, Future Jazz und Downbeat. Eine Menge schöner Belege hierfür befinden sich in diesem Box-Set: Dutzende Produzenten, DJs, Labelmacher und Wegbegleiter gaben zum Compost-Jubiläum ihre Gedanken, Widmungen und tolle Quotes ab.

Man kann stolz behaupten, dass Compost weltweit als der Wegbereiter für das Genre Future Jazz gilt. Die sehr erfolgreichen und hoch gelobten Compilation-Serien - Future Sounds Of Jazz', - Glücklich', - Elaste' oder - Party Keller' sind nach wie vor zeitlose Highlights.

Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum gab es ein umfangreiches Buch - zum 25. lassen wir wieder mehr die Musik sprechen: Die Idee war, Compost-Lieblingstunes von geschätzten Künstlern neu interpretieren zu lassen. Es freut uns somit sehr, dass wir sowohl talentierte junge, als auch viele unserer Alltime-Favourite-Produzenten für dieses Projekt gewinnen konnten. Neben den zahlreichen Remixes beinhaltet diese streng limitierte und hand-nummerierte 10x12'-Box auch im Vinylformat vergriffene Label-Klassiker sowie einige exklusive Tracks. Zusätzlich lassen sich die beeindruckende Labelgeschichte und Hintergrund-Stories in den von Michael Reinboth sehr persönlich verfassten Linernotes entdecken. On Top gibt es Compost Records-Gimmicks, einen Downloadcode (komplettes Tracklisting + Bonus Tracks) und je ein Mixtape von Michael Reinboth sowie Thomas Herb.
